Azelastin-COMOD® 視敏定® 抗敏眼藥水

Itching, redness and the urge to rub usually point to allergy rather than dryness.

The distinction matters, because artificial tears won't settle an allergic reaction — and rubbing makes it worse in a way that can damage the corneal surface over time. Azelastin targets the allergic response itself.

Allergy or dry eye? A rough guide

Main feeling Allergy: itch Dry eye: grit, burning
Timing Seasonal, or after exposure Worse through the day, or on waking
Also present Sneezing, runny nose, swelling Fluctuating vision, screen fatigue

Plenty of people have both at once — which is exactly when self-diagnosis goes wrong.

Why the bottle matters
The COMOD® system is an airtight vacuum design that keeps the solution sterile after opening without adding preservatives. Where drops are used daily through a whole season, that's meaningful, because preservatives themselves can irritate an already inflamed surface.

Questions

Can children use it?

It's suitable from age 4. For younger children, please speak to us or your doctor first.

Can I use it alongside artificial tears?

Yes, and many people do. Leave a few minutes between different drops so each has time to work.

Can I wear contact lenses?

During an active allergic flare we'd generally suggest giving lenses a break — the surface is already irritated. Ask us about your specific situation.

How long can I keep using it?

If symptoms persist beyond a couple of weeks, or keep returning, get it looked at rather than continuing indefinitely. Persistent itch and redness aren't always allergy.
